BATON ROUGE, La. – New Orleans (4-10) returns to action this weekend for five matches at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium. The Privateers take on ULM and Texas A&M-Kingsville Friday at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, before matches versus No. 4 LSU (10:20 a.m.), Spring Hill (1 p.m.) and Central Arkansas (6:20 p.m.) on Saturday. All matches will be streamed on LSU's YouTube channel
HERE and Friday's matches will be televised on Cox Sports Television, home on Inside #NOLAsTeam presented by Ochsner.
UNO is coming off a 4-0 victory over Southeastern Louisiana (March 29).
Veronica Corcoran and
Victoria Corcoran are 8-6 at No. 1 and coming off back-to-back wins.
Trinity Jackson and
Hannah Volpi went 2-0 at No. 5 in their beach debuts after the completion of the indoor season. Also going 2-0 in their debut were
Hailey Melerine and
Chloe Hampton (exhibition).
Ally Carr and
Maxine Walsh have four wins at No. 2 and
Alexa Spartz,
Liz Gialanella,
Madeline Drake and
Brianna Vega also have four victories.
