NEW ORLEANS – The LSU New Orleans cross country teams will make the 205-mile journey west to Enos Derbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles for the 2026 Southland Conference Cross Country Championships on Friday morning.
Emma Bourg,

Bourg finished 10th at the 2023 Southland Championships with a time of 22:20.7 and was named the Southland Conference Freshman of the Year and second-team All-Southland that season. She finished 15th in 2024 with a time of 22:16.21 and did not run in last season's race.
Imre finished 30th in 2024 in 22:56.00 and finished 27th last season in 22:34.3. Daverio set a personal-best time of 23:35.6 at last year's meet as well and finished 50th.

Juneau, Blanchard, and Livingston were all part of the seven personal bests set by the Privateer men at last season's meet.
Both the men's and women's teams have seen success at the Southland Championships over the last six seasons. Since 2021, including the 2020 championship run held in 2021, the New Orleans men have finished fourth, fourth, third, fourth, eighth, and ninth. Kolyn Saltzman owns the best individual finish at the Southland Championships by a Privateer male, with back-to-back fourth-place finishes in 2021 and 2022.
The women have finished fourth, second, first, second, fourth, and sixth since 2021. The 2022 championship was the second in program history and just the third women's conference championship in any sport in school history.
