Jennifer Archibald

LSU New Orleans Athletics added Jennifer Archibald to its executive staff as Associate Athletic Director for Business Affairs and Senior Woman Administrator in August 2026.

Archibald brings more than a decade of experience in higher education administration, financial and business operations, compliance, and organizational improvement to the Privateers. She most recently served as a higher education consultant, working directly with colleges and universities to evaluate business processes, strengthen administrative and financial operations, improve compliance, and support institution-wide initiatives.

Prior to consulting, Archibald held a variety of leadership and administrative positions in higher education, with experience spanning business operations, financial management, enrollment administration, systems, compliance, and process improvement. Throughout her career, she has partnered with university leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operations, strengthen internal controls, and support institutional priorities.

Archibald also brings extensive experience in both collegiate and professional athletics. Her athletics background includes working NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament events, NBA basketball, and PGA TOUR events, providing experience with major sporting events at both the collegiate and professional levels. Combined with her higher education and business operations background, that experience gives Archibald a broad perspective on the financial, administrative, and operational needs of intercollegiate athletics.

Archibald earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Memphis, a Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of New Orleans, and a Master of Science in Accounting from DePaul University. She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University. Her academic background in sport management, hospitality, accounting, and academic advising complements her extensive professional experience in higher education administration and business operations.
