Eugenie Phillipson

Eugenie Philipson

New Orleans native Eugenie Philipson brings experience in collegiate athletics, brand partnerships, major sporting events, fan engagement, and digital storytelling to her role as Director of Sponsorships and Promotions at LSU New Orleans. In her role, she focuses on expanding the Privateers’ visibility, developing relationships with local businesses and community partners, and creating experiences that strengthen connections between LSU New Orleans Athletics, its students, fans, and the greater New Orleans community.

Before joining LSU New Orleans, Philipson served as a Partnerships Coordinator with Learfield’s Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), where she worked directly with universities and athletic departments to develop brand partnerships, marketing campaigns, and fan engagement initiatives. She collaborated with retailers, licensing partners, and institutional teams to bring those partnerships to life while helping keep university and athletics branding and promotional efforts aligned. Her work included projects connected to Heisman Trophy Candidates Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Washington Athletics’ Dubs Collection and Colorado’s tribute to longtime superfan Ms. Peggy.

Philipson has also worked across some of the country’s premier sporting events. With the Atlanta Sports Council, she produced digital content surrounding the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship, interviewing student-athletes, fans, and national media personalities while creating content that showcased Atlanta as a premier destination for major sporting events. She also produced content surrounding the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship in Houston and supported fan engagement and brand visibility at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. At the 2022 NCAA Men’s Final Four, she covered events ranging from the court unveiling and team appearances to Fan Fest and the championship games.

Her experience also includes training camp events and fan engagement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as NIL initiatives connecting student-athletes with local businesses and community organizations. Through her company, World of Eug LLC, Philipson has developed partnership and event strategies while producing digital stories featuring student-athletes, coaches, fans, and New Orleans culture.

In 2026, Philipson served as an archive consultant at the Caesars Superdome, where she built a searchable digital archive documenting more than 50 years of sports, entertainment and cultural events across the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Champions Square and Club XLIV. The project organized and preserved decades of venue history while creating a resource for future storytelling, marketing, and organizational use.

Philipson earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Newcomb-Tulane College at Tulane University in 2023.
