Brandon Blackwell was hired as the Ticketing Coordinator at LSU New Orleans in August 2026.
Blackwell comes to the Lakefront with a lot of experience at fellow Southland Conference schools. He was previously at McNeese where he served as the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations. While Blackwell was there, the McNeese program set attendance records in men's basketball (twice), softball and the Southland Tournament championship game.
While in Lake Charles, Blackwell led a team of three within his department in box office management, customer service, event planning and execution.
Prior to his stint in Lake Charles, Blackwell served as the Ticket Operation Coordinator at Southeastern from 2023-2025. He oversaw all aspects of box office management and ticket sales during live events.Â
Blackwell served in different roles in Hammond prior to his time as Ticket Operation Coordinator. He was Administrative Coordinator of Purchasing from 2021-2023 and was a student manager on the baseball team from 2017-2021.Â
Blackwell earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southeastern in 2021 and received his MBA from Southeastern in 2025.
